Ralf

Ralf joined us as a production assistant. The trained carpenter was later trained as a machine and plant operator in our finishing department. There he operates the stenter frame and is responsible for monitoring the production process. Ralf has now also mastered all the other finishing machines.

For the finishing of textiles, there are some “ready-made recipes” that he has memorized over the years. He coats the raw material with chemicals and applies them using the foam mixer. According to Ralf, the demanding work on the stenter requires technical understanding and complex specialist knowledge.

Ralf appreciates the pleasant working atmosphere at Spandauer Velours and still enjoys his work after all these years.
