Bianca works in the laboratory and tests our technical textiles, for example, for weight, thickness, fabric width, shrinkage behaviour and water absorption. In addition to plush, the yarns are also tested for yarn count, tenacity, elongation at break and yarn twist.

Before our velour fabrics go on their journey, the textile laboratory technician also takes a close look at them. Because only fabrics that pass the tests to assess colour, weight, thickness, burning tests, tear strength, elongation at tear, tear propagation, pilling and abrasion resistance are allowed to leave our halls.
