From trainee to professional – Lenny’s success story at Spandauer Velours!

Lenny knew early on that his path would lead him into metal and maintenance technology. After a first attempt in the metal construction industry, he started 2021 with an internship at Spandauer Velours – and that was exactly the right decision.

His commitment impressed the team, and so he began his training as an industrial mechanic in the maintenance department in September 2021. By working closely with his trainer Mirko and his colleagues, who all actively supported him during his apprenticeship, he was able to develop steadily and grow into the role. He is particularly proud of his additional qualification as a boiler attendant, which gives him a special responsibility within the company.

Since February 20, Lenny is now officially a qualified industrial mechanic – and will remain with us as an integral part of the maintenance department! Repairs, maintenance, machine inspections – he is at work wherever things get mechanical.

And Lenny is far from finished! He also wants to attend further training courses in the future and prove himself and his skills with additional know-how. We look forward to accompanying him on this journey!
