Historic Architecture: The Curtain Rises at Dresden’s Kügelgenhaus

At the Comedie Royal Theater, our high-quality commercial fabric Viola CS played a very special role.

A custom-made stage curtain made of dark red velvet was created for the imposing, round vaulted ceiling of Dresden’s historic Kügelgenhaus.
Arched ceilings give rooms unique acoustics and atmosphere—but demand absolute perfection in terms of fit and installation.

The result is a real eye-catcher: it combines functionality and safety with timeless aesthetics and sets the small stage in just the right light with the perfect touch of theatrical flair.
