35th company anniversary of Spandauer Velours GmbH & Co. KG and 30 years of the Lichtenstein facility

On 30 June 1987, exactly 35 years ago, Spandauer Velours GmbH & Co. KG was founded in (West) Berlin. The district of Spandau not only served as the headquarters for our company, but was also incorporated into our company name.

After reunification, the then owners of the company acquired premises of the former Hohenstein-Ernstthal furniture fabric and plush works and moved the company from Berlin to Lichtenstein, our current location, in 1992.

Originally founded as a manufacturer of upholstery fabrics, our company developed into one of the leading manufacturers of sophisticated velour and plush fabrics for the painting and cleaning industry as well as for the contract sector.

This development makes us very proud and very grateful. In particular, our greatest respect and a big thank you go to our experienced and long-standing employees, who have contributed to the constant development of our company with a lot of heart and soul over the past years.
