An interesting day came to an end. Last Friday we visited the Heinrich von Kleist secondary school in Lichtenstein. This year's vocational marathon took place there, where we got to talk to the pupils of the 8th and 9th classes.
Our apprentice industrial clerk Louisa and our personnel officer Kristyna Lamblova were on site. The two of them presented our current apprenticeships as well as the opportunities for a trial internship at Spandauer Velours.
After two years, we were pleased to be back in personal contact with the students and representatives of the other companies and to exchange ideas with them.

We also had the loom model with us again. The students were able to try out their dexterity and practise how to tie a weaver's knot.

Not been there? No problem, you can find our current training offers on our website.
P.S.: There are still places available for 2022/23!

Another technical textile from our development is the paint roller 1419. In detail, this is a microfibre yarn with the highest absorption and dispensing capacity of paint, which is wound with a coloured component made of PES. The wrapping ensures a long service life and the stability of the single fibre in the pile.

The grey, gloomy weather of winter does depress the mood at some point. So the first rays of sunshine directly put you in a good mood.
If you want to bring the fragrance and colour of spring into your home, a colourful bouquet of spring flowers, such as tulips, is a good idea.

The colourful selection of our floral splendour from the 7840 Viola CS col. 7149, col. 5110, col. 6263, col. 3687 and col. 7114 collection hopefully already exudes the first spring feelings!
