Who do we have here? Our product research developed a whole new object fabric, namely S 143 Viola Melange CS col. 4748.
To everyone who is thinking about coffee, we are deeply sorry to tell you that you are slightly off the target. But just like with a good Viennese Melange – consisting of one part of coffee, one part of milk and milk foam – also our Viola is a good mixture.
The bicolour design comes from the ‘melange effect’, that arises when the yarn is mixed and spun from different-coloured fibres.
Our turquoise is a mixture of blue and green and harmonizes body and soul. It conveys harmony and security and has a calming but still refreshing effect just like a glimpse to the sea.
This colour promotes clear thoughts and communication, symbolizes freedom, self-confidence, elegance, serenity and sociability. And also humour, openness, honest< and distance are associated with turquoise. The matt contract fabric is made of 100 % flame-retardant Trevira CS fibres.

The yellow-grey striped ink roller 1341 consists of ‘endless’ polyamide fibres. Those are also called filament and can have practically unlimited length. The bottom layer of the technical textile is called the carrier layer. The upper layer is the wear layer, also called pile. With our paint roller 1341, this pile has a particularly good stability, so they do not mat. The natural straightening of the fibres is extremely important for first-class colour absorption and controlled colour release. The velour guarantees a lint-free application of colour. The material has a high abrasion resistance and thus has a long life as a painter's roller.

Jasmin started her apprenticeship with us in 2015 as a machine and plant operator in the field of textile technology. With her graduation in 2017 we proudly took her on as a junior employee in the weaving mill.

As a weaver, she is responsible for operating the production machines, changing and resetting the weft and twister bobbins. Jasmin repairs broken warp threads and draws in all kinds of threads. When the woven fabric is finished, she prepares it for further processing and changes the weaving racks. So here it is running smoothly.

This is where the raw yarn is stored and waits to be used in the weaving operations. The right yarn is essential for the quality of the finished fabrics. Our warehouse staff knows every little corner of our shelves and knows exactly where to find which material.
