Yesterday our employees could relish and take a break from the work routine. It‘s not everyday that an ice cream cart stands in front of the door. Many thanks to Café Kampanile from Mülsen for the delicious and wonderful refreshing waffle ice cream.
“Why do I like working for Spandauer Velours? Because I have been able to face new challenges here for almost eleven years and have been developed personally as well as professionally during this time. Because I didn’t start out in human resources or payroll accounting but as a shipping employee.
Shortly thereafter I was already responsible for customs clearance and finally, two years ago, I was able to get my current position. This was a great sign of confidence for me. I was allowed to attend plenty of trainings and further education. Recently I also obtained my training supervisor certificate. The mentoring of our apprentices and the general handling with our employees means a lot of fun to me and requires also sensitivity and a certain tolerance. Especially I appreciate the respectful, unprejudiced but also helpful interaction with each other.
