Alexander

Alexander is a trained industrial mechanic and joined Flock-Produktions GmbH in St. Egidien in 2002 as a production worker after changing careers. At the end of 2007, he moved to Spandauer Velours and joined us as a pinning operator in the warping department. There, he expanded his knowledge and skills until he was also working as a machine and plant operator.

In 2020, Alexander was asked to take on the position of dispatcher in the yarn warehouse. He accepted this new role and has since been responsible for processing the warping lists. In this area, he takes care of organizing the individual items, i.e., which items are to be manufactured next and which yarns in which colors are required for this. Under certain circumstances, items may also need to be rewritten or rescheduled. As yarn warehouse manager, Alexander is the interface between yarn purchasing and the yarn warehouse. Managing the warping orders, organizing the workflow, prioritizing the items, and communicating with colleagues brings a welcome variety to his work.

What he appreciates about Spandauer Velours is that he has always been able to “jump ahead,” learn new processes, and expand his expertise. His work and collaboration with colleagues are always enjoyable, and the short commute are the advantages of Spandauer Velours for the Lichtenstein native. Thank you, Alexander, for supporting our team, being so versatile, and approaching things with enthusiasm and zeal.
